Commentary
As these crazy car stunts are the top three viewed Davidfarm videos, it seems reasonable to conclude that these types of videos are the hook that attract fans to Davidsfarm. As can be seen from some of the comments, fans revisit these videos. The videos portray what Dave and his fans call a ‘redneck’ lifestyle. Fans obviously like the thrill element of these stunts, the comraderie of a bunch of guys drinking beer and doing dangerous things. ‘These are my people’ one fan states, another repeats something Dave says in the video ‘I told you, tree would move’. It seems the fans are imagining themselves there with Dave and his friends joining in with the laughter.
