I’m late. The first week is almost up and, as usual, I’m late.
Analogies (metaphors?) of rabbit holes and Alice abound, but at least she wasn’t being watched. Here it is. ’I post therefore I am.’ Who said that?
If there was only one way in, it wouldn’t be so bad. But this digital cultures thing is not like that. So many routes in; so many signs showing the way that I get lost and, so it seems, no way out.
I could talk about spiders webs, the analogy being so obvious it is a cliche, but in this case, I think it is the web making the spider and not the other way around.
